Academic mobility – is the movement of students and researchers to a particular academic period (including the course of study or work experience) in the prescribed manner for educational or scientific research, usually for a semester or other academic year (within the country or abroad) mandatory re-registration in the form of a loan in its institution.
Academic mobility promotes expansion of scientific and professional interests of students and undergraduates, provides opportunities for long-term study at foreign universities. Coordinating the content of educational programs with the educational programs of leading foreign partner universities is an important factor. International academic mobility has been implemented by leading universities in the United States, Europe and Central Asia thanks to the integration of curricula on the basis of comparison of curricula on specialties of the University.
Internal (national) academic mobility program – visits to universities and research centers on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan for study and other educational / scientific purposes;
External (international) academic mobility program – is a trip to foreign educational institutions and research centers for study and research and other educational purposes.
