The Scientific and Technical Council (STC) is a scientific and methodological expert and advisory body of the University, created for the purpose of effective interaction of all segments of the University’s science and for the active involvement of the academic staff into research activity.
Scientific and Technical Council (STC) is based on the regulations of the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the University Charter, the decisions of the University’s Academic Council, and the orders and instructions of the rector.
The purposes of the Scientific and Technical Council are:
1. Development and implementation of the University policy for institution’s research activity.
2. Effective coordination of University research activity in priority areas of development of regional economy and social sphere.
3. Integration of University research activity with international and domestic research projects and programs.
4. Participation in grant research projects through the Ministry of Education and Science of.Kazakhstan.
The Council is headed by its chairman, the Vice-Rector for Science and Innovations Beknazarov R.A.
