Erasmus+ is a new program of the European Union for the period from 2014 to 2020, aimed at supporting projects, cooperation, academic mobility in the field of education, training, sports and youth policy.
The Erasmus+ programme aims to further promote the modernization and sustainable development of education and training systems, support the development of youth policy and sports, and improve skills and thus employability. The new programme involves a significant increase in investment in human development.
The Erasmus+ program has opened up new opportunities for students, faculty and other University staff, which are implemented within the framework of Key Action 1 (Key Action 1). Mobility of students and teachers is an important component of the higher education system, which allows universities to develop both in The Program countries and in partner Countries, where mobility becomes an incentive to improve the quality of teaching, improve the activities of international and student services, for comparison and updating of training programs. Mobility contributes to the development of better strategies for internationalization, which is a catalyst for higher education reform everywhere. Mobility is important and useful, of course, for students, faculty and administrative staff of universities, having a positive impact on the quality of higher education in General through the formation and development of recognition tools.

Students, teachers and employees of K. Zhubanova ARSU can participate in short-term mobility, which is carried out within the framework of bilateral agreements on mobility between universities from The Program countries and universities from partner Countries. Student mobility: duration from 3 to 12 months (maximum).
Mobility of teachers and other University staff for teaching or internships: duration from 5 days to 2 months (maximum excluding travel time). Mobility participants receive a scholarship that covers the costs of transport, visas, insurance and accommodation. The grant for employees may include travel expenses (one day before the start of mobility, one day after mobility)by recognition of credit units (hence the common name – Credit Mobility): duration – from 3 to 12 months (maximum) in each training period.
